Wasini Island & Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park Day Trip
Travel south from Mombasa to Shimoni, board a dhow for Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, snorkel over the reef and continue to Wasini Island for a Swahili-style lunch. Dolphin sightings are possible but never guaranteed because the animals are wild.
Overview
This is a long 8–10 hour day and one of the coast’s classic marine excursions. Departure time is early because of the road journey to Shimoni and the need to work with tide and sea conditions.
The displayed KES 15,500 starting price reflects current citizen/resident day-trip pricing in the south-coast market. Non-resident pricing and statutory KWS marine park fees can differ and are confirmed before payment.
